The Arkansas Razorbacks (5-3, 3-2 SEC) are set to take on the Ole Miss Rebels (6-2, 2-2 SEC) on Saturday at 11 PM CST on ESPN. Here are 5 Rebels to know prior to the Hogs matchup with Ole Miss.
1.) Quarterback Jaxson Dart
The senior quarterback has had an outstanding season so far as he has tallied up 2695 yards through the air, which makes him the third-ranked QB in the nation in passing yards. Dart has 15 passing touchdowns and also has tacked on three rushing touchdowns this season.
Dart is 1-1 against the Razorbacks with a mixed bag of individual results. In 2022, he completed 21 of 36 passes for 240 yards with a touchdown and a pick in a rough 42-27 loss in Fayetteville. Last season, Dart got his revenge on the scoreboard but only threw for 153 yards on 16 of 25 passing.

2.) Linebacker Chris ‘Pooh’ Paul Jr.
The former Razorback has been a major addition to the Ole Miss defense as he has recorded 58 tackles, 33 solo, to this point while also tacking on 2.5 sacks. He will face his old teammates on Saturday following an excellent performance against the Oklahoma Sooners where Paul had 12 total tackles in the 26-14 win.
Paul, of course, began his career at Arkansas, and compiled 137 tackles and six sacks in three seasons, but he elected to hit the transfer portal and explore his options after emerging as a full-time starter and contributor for Travis Williams last season.
3.) Wide Receiver Tre Harris
Despite missing last weekend’s win over Oklahoma with an injury, Harris still leads the SEC by a wide margin with 59 receptions and 987 receiving yards to go along with six touchdowns in Lane Kiffin’s high-octane offense. His status for this weekend is currently uncertain.
Harris has gone over the century mark in receiving five times in seven games. Three catches for 81 yards at South Carolina represents his lowest output of the season.
In his lone game against Arkansas, Harris logged just one reception for 26 yards.
4.) Safety Trey Amos
The Alabama transfer has seen his production skyrocket since joining the Rebels as he has 32 tackles on the year while also pulling down three interceptions. His best performance of the year came against the South Carolina Gamecocks where he had eight tackles and an interception in a 27-3 win.
Amos also came away with interceptions in the opener against Furman and on the road at LSU. Last weekend against Oklahoma, he had three tackles and a pass defended.
In his only matchup against the Hogs, Amos tallied up two tackles in a 24-21 win for Bama.
5.) Running Back Henry Parrish Jr.
After two seasons at Ole Miss, and a two-year pitstop at Miami, Parrish is back with the Rebels and off to a strong start.
Parrish has proven to be a problem for opposing teams and enters play averaging over 80 rushing yards per game. His 656 total rushing yards ranks fourth in the SEC and he has found the end zone on the ground 10 times through eight games.
Parrish’s lone performance against the Razorbacks came back in 52-51 shootout win for the Rebels in 2021 where he finished with 111 rushing yards on 18 carries, which represented his season-highs in both categories.
