Arkansas will travel to Columbia to take on No. 21 Missouri in the Battle Line Rivalry on Nov. 30, with kickoff set for 2:30 p.m. The Razorbacks became bowl eligible last week with a 35-14 win over Louisiana Tech, while the Tigers are coming off a 39-20 victory over Mississippi State.
Key Players for Missouri
Missouri quarterback Brady Cook will play the final home game of his career. Despite being banged up for much of the season, Cook is regaining form and threw for 268 yards and a touchdown in last week’s win over Mississippi State.
Wide receiver Luther Burden III is also expected to play his final home game and possibly his last game with Missouri if he opts out of their bowl game. The junior, projected as a first-round pick in the NFL draft, has battled injuries but has recorded 60 catches for 655 yards and nine touchdowns this season.
Key Players for Arkansas
Quarterback Taylen Green has accounted for over 3,000 yards of total offense this season. He showcased his dual-threat ability in the win against Louisiana Tech. Green threw for 221 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 61 yards and two additional scores. This was his third game with multiple rushing touchdowns this season, which is the most by an Arkansas quarterback since 1978.
Wide receiver Andrew Armstrong has been the Razorbacks’ go-to target. He’s recorded 1,012 receiving yards this season, just the fifth 1,000-yard season in program history. Armstrong has caught a pass in 38 consecutive games and has doubled the production of Arkansas’ second-leading receiver, Isaiah Sategna, who has 485 yards. In the win over Louisiana Tech, Armstrong recorded eight catches for 81 yards.
Trends to Watch
Missouri has won seven of the last eight matchups in the series, including a 48-14 victory in Fayetteville last season. Arkansas has never won in Columbia, losing all six previous attempts, and will aim to end that streak.
The Razorbacks’ offense will face a strong Missouri defense. The Tigers rank third in the SEC in passing defense, allowing just 181 yards per game. To secure their first win in Columbia, Arkansas will need to protect the ball and avoid costly turnovers.
