Arkansas Bowl Projections Following Ole Miss Loss

What are the updated bowl projections for Arkansas football following an embarrassing, 63-31, home loss to Ole Miss in Fayetteville?

The loss dropped the Razorbacks to 5-4 overall and 3-3 in SEC play, still in need of one victory over its last three games to reach bowl eligibility.

“I told them we got out-played, out-coached, out-physicaled,” Sam Pittman said of his message to the team on Saturday. “And that we’ve got three games left, and if we can win each one of them then we can hold our head up and go on to whatever bowl.”

The ESPN Football Power Index (FPI) moved Arkansas back out of its Top 25 and dropped the final projections for the Razorbacks from 6.9 to 6.5 wins.

Arkansas is given a 97.4% chance to reach bowl eligibility and a 6.7% chance to win out in its remaining games, according to the metric.
