The Razorbacks tallied 14 hits, 14 walks and four hit batters, led by Cam Kozeal’s four-hit, five-RBI performance. Four Hogs had multi-hit games and five logged multiple RBIs, including Brent Iredale, Ryder Helfrick, Nolan Souza and Justin Thomas Jr. Zach Root earned his team-best fifth win with five strong innings, while Dylan Carter and Will McEntire closed it out with two perfect frames.
In game two, Arkansas continued its offensive onslaught, taking the first game of the Sunday doubleheader 14-4 behind a seven-run fourth inning. Charles Davalan hit a three-run homer in the second and a grand slam in the fourth to lead the charge. Wehiwa Aloy went 4-for-5 and scored three times, while seven Razorbacks recorded multi-hit games. Aiden Jimenez tossed two scoreless innings with two strikeouts, and Steele Eaves closed out the final inning with one hit and two strikeouts.
Game three saw the Hogs throttle Missouri once again, cruising to a 16-2 win to complete the sweep. Kozeal stayed hot at the plate with a two-run homer and a grand slam, while Kuhio Aloy, Carson Boles and Kozeal all recorded multiple RBIs. Five Razorbacks had multi-hit efforts. Landon Beidelschies started the game and allowed only two runs on four hits over four innings. Christian Foutch, Cole Gibler and Carson Wiggins combined for three shutout innings to close the series.
Who Stood Out for the Hogs
Cam Kozeal has found his rhythm at the plate, collecting nine hits and 13 RBIs in the series. Charles Davalan also swung a hot bat, finishing with five hits, nine RBIs and two walks. On the mound, Arkansas’ bullpen was stellar, holding Missouri scoreless in relief appearances across the series. The only damage came early in games, with just one additional run allowed in the fifth inning of game two.
Looking Ahead for the Hogs
Arkansas will stay home to host in-state opponent Arkansas State for a midweek matchup April 8. First pitch is scheduled for 6 p.m. and will be televised on SEC Network. The Razorbacks will then travel to Athens for a weekend series against Georgia.
