Sam Pittman received some good news today after his Razorback Football team got a commitment from tight end Gavin Garretson.
Garretson is the 23rd commit for the Hogs as part of the 2025 class and is playing for Pleasant Valley High School in Chico, California.
He chose Arkansas over California, San Diego State, Eastern Washington, and Cal Poly (yes they have a team). He also ranks as a three star and the 121st ranked player in the state of California, according to 247sports. Tight end coach Morgan Turner was lead recruiter for the Razorbacks in getting the commitment of Gavin Garretson.
