The Arkansas Razorbacks will be looking to bounce back from their first loss of the season in Week 3 as they welcome the UAB Blazers, but the Hogs will have to do it while nursing injuries to key players in the secondary.

Arkansas’ top corner Jaylon Braxton, who allowed just one reception for six yards on six targets in coverage last week, was limited a bit in Week 2 with what the Hogs believed to be tendonitis. His status for this week’s game remains in question.
Marquise Robinson, who started opposite Braxton at the other cornerback spot in Week 1, missed the Oklahoma State game after dealing with a pregame stinger. Senior safety Hudson Clark was also limited to just eight snaps due to a back injury, and Arkansas coach Sam Pittman does not anticipate his return this week.
“Braxton hasn’t practiced much this week,” Pittman said. “We’re going to check him out. He’s got a bone bruise, so we’re going to check him out a little bit more today.
“Hud (Hudson Clark), he’s doubtful. I don’t know that he’ll be ready this week. Cuddie (Marquise Robinson), he’ll be fine. Braxton is probably still a wait-and-see. I’ll probably know more about it after today’s practice, to be honest with you. Cuddie will go, and Hudson is very, very doubtful.”
The Razorbacks and Blazers will meet inside Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium at 3:15 p.m. (CT) on Saturday. The game will be televised on SEC Network and streamed via the ESPN App.
