STAFF PREDICTIONS
JOHN NABORS: We have not had a chance to see this Arkansas offense flourish since early September against UAPB & Oklahoma State. Since then it has been pretty meh scoring wise. I believe that changes in Starkville. The Hogs come out establishing a solid rushing attack moving down field which then opens up the passing game for Taylen Green to build that extra confidence. Mississippi State fights back, but they can’t stop the Razorback offense enough times to win. Hogs take care of business. 44-24, W
- Ole Miss -20 Oklahoma
- Missouri +17 Alabama
- Vandy +18.5 Texas
- LSU +2.5 A&M
- Kentucky -2.5 Auburn
ANDREW ELLIS: The Hogs got punched in the gut last week, and the Bulldogs are coming off two of the most moral of victories you’ll see in the SEC this year. There’s certainly more pressure on Arkansas here, but I think that should lead to a healthy amount of desperation that could serve the Razorbacks well. If the offense doesn’t put together a solid game here, then it simply isn’t happening. 31-23, W
- Ole Miss -20 vs. Oklahoma
- Missouri +17 at Alabama
- Texas -18.5 vs Vanderbilt
- Texas A&M -2.5 vs LSU
- Kentucky -2.5 vs Auburn
CURTIS WILKERSON: For whatever reason, Arkansas does not tend to handle expectations very well. The last time the Hogs were unanimously expected to take care of business, they nearly lost at home to UAB. The last time Arkansas won and covered as a touchdown road favorite in the SEC was at South Carolina in 1998. I sense the Razorbacks will do enough on both sides of the ball to get the job done here, but I have a feeling in the pit of my stomach it will be way too close for comfort going into the fourth quarter. 35-27, W
