The Arkansas Razorbacks (5-3, 3-2 SEC) will host the No. 19 Ole Miss Rebels (6-2, 2-2 SEC) on Nov. 2 at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Ark.
In the all-time series, the Razorbacks lead 38-30-1 over the Rebels. Ole Miss has struggled on the road against Arkansas, winning just once in their last five trips to Fayetteville. The Rebels are coming off a 26-14 win against Oklahoma, while the Hogs recently defeated Mississippi State 58-25 on the road.
Key Players for the Razorbacks
Taylen Green, Quarterback
Green is coming off arguably his best game as a Razorback, completing 23 of 29 passes for 314 yards and five touchdowns against Mississippi State. He also rushed for 79 yards and a touchdown on eight carries. With Ole Miss’s much-improved defense this season, Green will need another standout performance.
Braylen Russell, Running Back
Russell had his best game as a Hog last week, rushing for 175 yards on 16 carries, including a 75-yard run with the offense backed up near their own goal line. With lead back Ja’Quinden Jackson ruled out, the Hogs will once again rely on Russell.
Landon Jackson, Defensive End
Jackson has picked up his play over the last four weeks, recording 3.5 sacks, forcing a fumble, and recovering one. He will need to pressure Ole Miss quarterback Jaxson Dart and disrupt the Rebels’ offense.
Xavian Sorey Jr., Linebacker
Sorey leads the Razorbacks in tackles this season and is coming off an 11-tackle game against Mississippi State. With Ole Miss leading the SEC in total offensive yards per game, Sorey will need to play a key role in stopping the run and assisting in coverage.

Trends to Watch
This game could be an offensive battle. Ole Miss statistically has the best offense in the SEC, and Arkansas is right behind them in total offensive yards per game.
The Razorbacks will face former linebacker Chris Paul Jr. for the first time since he transferred to Ole Miss in the offseason. Paul leads the Rebels in tackles with 57 and has 2.5 sacks. Arkansas will also have to deal with Ole Miss’s pass rush, which leads the SEC with 34 sacks, spearheaded by linebacker Suntarine Perkins, who has 8.5 sacks this season.
The Arkansas offensive line, which has allowed 17 sacks this season, will need to protect Green against this aggressive Ole Miss defense.
