Arkansas Bowl Projections Following Tennessee Upset

Arkansas fans are likely flocking to all the updated bowl projections following Saturday’s upset of No. 4 Tennessee in Fayetteville.

After entering the season with Vegas projecting 5.5 wins and most talking heads taking the under, the Razorbacks have exceeded expectations despite a rollercoaster ride through the first six weeks en route to a 4-2 overall record and 2-1 mark in SEC play.

There is still work to be done, but it is probably worth dusting off and polishing up Larry the bowling ball in advance of an increasingly likely return appearance after a year off.

Arkansas is currently receiving 17 votes in the latest AP Top 25, which places it six spots shy of cracking the poll for the first time since 2022.

ESPN’s Football Power Index (FPI) ranks the Razorbacks 24th nationally and projects them to finish the season 7-5 overall with a 92.4% chance to reach bowl eligibility. For what it’s worth, Arkansas is given a 4.1% chance to make the College Football Playoff.
