Game day is almost here, so it is time for the staff at Inside Arkansas to make their picks for Saturday’s home-opener with UAB for the Hogs as well as the full SEC weekend slate.
The Razorbacks and Blazers are set for an 3:15 p.m. (CT) kickoff from Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville. The game will be broadcast on SEC Network.
Arkansas is currently a -23.5 favorite, according to the lines at Bet Saracen.

STAFF PREDICTIONS
CURTIS WILKERSON: No disrespect to UAB, but Saturday’s home-opener in Fayetteville is about the Razorbacks. Will Arkansas clean up the self-inflicted wounds that cost it a game in Stillwater? Even if they don’t, the Hogs should take care of business. I don’t believe this game will ever be at risk, but I also don’t expect Arkansas to gain 650 yards every week. Give me the Hogs comfortably, but not as emphatically as some may expect. 44-16, W

ANDREW ELLIS: A letdown here wouldn’t be the most surprising thing in the world, given the nature in which Arkansas lost in Week 2 and with a big road trip looming. But it would be pretty disappointing if the Hogs laid an egg in the first home game of the year, particularly with UAB getting worked by ULM a week ago. The Razorbacks are known to slip up in these spots, but you could make an argument the spread *should* be higher. 49-10, W

JOHN NABORS: Arkansas has had no problem putting up a ton of yards offensively and that won’t change this Saturday in Fayetteville. Bobby Petrino’s offense is showcasing all of their strengths, but finishing off drives must be the focus this weekend. Even though there will be some mistakes made by the Hogs, they roll through a weaker opponent in UAB. 58-13, W
